We find existing models
Shapely searches Thingiverse, Printables and other maker platforms for the closest match, even when you don't know what the part is called.
AI grows what's missing
If no model exists, generative AI creates a printable 3D model from your photos and measurements, checked for fit and printability.
Most broken parts have no file to print.
The problem
When a small plastic part breaks, manufacturers rarely sell it on its own. 3D printing could fix it in an hour, but you first need a model file, and making one takes CAD skills most people don't have.
Our approach
Shapely turns a description or a photo into a printable file. First we look for a model that already exists. If there is none, we generate it. You never touch CAD software.
Technology
An AI agent built on Google Gemini runs the conversation, reads photos and searches maker platforms. It runs on Firebase and Google Cloud. Next is a generative 3D pipeline that turns photos and measurements into printable geometry.
